Head Scarf Tutorial | Keiko Lynn
I finally found one! The lovely thefemininecopacetic asked for a tutorial on how to tie a head scarf in a little bow, fifties style and I finally found the perfect one! Keiko Lynn is my favourite beauty blogger. I actually really love this look - I need to get myself a longer scarf to wrap around my head stat!

Fabric made from cork; such a cool textile innovation!  Too bad it costs over 100 Euros per meter.

I wish my hair was just a bit longer so I could pin my braid over my head.

I’ve slowly been getting my room put together this summer.  It’s been a bit of a project since A) I’m a poor college student, and B) I have a lot of other stuff to do as well.  So this is a corner of my room that I’m pretty pleased with at the moment…although it’s lacking some serious wall decorations.
The chair is recovered in a cute blue and light yellow fabric.
The lamp I found on my parent’s farm in Tennessee, it was left by the previous owner.  I had to clean it and rewire it, obviously still haven’t found a lampshade that works, but I may keep it that way.  From my research the lamp is a George and Martha Washington lamp dating back to around 1940-1950; I’m pretty excited about it because I love a good vintage find.
The nightstand I got at Angel’s Antique & Flea Mall.  It was already repainted when I bought it and I just love the slightly distressed look.
